About the webinar:   The purpose of the principles relating to reasonable apprehension of bias and actual bias is that the public must have confidence that a judge will make findings solely on the basis of the evidence before the Court and will assess that evidence impartially. It is fundamental to the administration of justice. The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the legal principles behind bias, including apprehended bias, the relevant procedure, and the best way to tackle these issues in Court.

Speaker:  Eugene Renard · Solicitor (Trial) Advocate and Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law, Legal Aid
